Week 12- Transfers!

This week I ended my first transfer in Romania! It was the best ever and I saw so many miracles! I am so excited for this next transfer because we are going to have another set of sisters here in Brasov!!! It unusual to have to sets of sisters in one district in my mission so I feel really lucky! We have to switch apartments though which I am pretty sad about hahah. That little apartment has become my home! But I am excited for this good change and I can't wait to start working with some other sisters! This week we continued to meet with Alexandra and she is doing really well. She loves the Book of Mormon and has developed such amazing faith! She told us this week that she knows that she is a daughter of God! That knowledge is one of the most precious things to me and I am overjoyed that she knows that too!! Thank you for your prayers for her! She is truley seeing miracles in her life because of them! This week we also got to go to the top of this hill in Brasov and look over the city. It was an amazing opportunity to look down over this place that has become my heart. I love Brasov and Romania and my chance I have to be here! I love this gospel with my whole heart and this is the best thing I have ever done!

Week 11: Bucharesti

Hello again from the amazing city of Brasov! This week was so amazing! I really don't have a lot of time but this week was just as awesome as usual. Every moment and day as a missionary is such a blessing. This week we had the chance to go to Bucharesti for a day and get some special training with my mission president and his wife. It was awesome to be able to spend time with them and I got to see my sisters from the MTC there. I loved being able catch up with them and see and hear all that they have learned! We have the best mission in the world and I love seeing more of it whenever we travel but it is always wonderful coming back home to Brasov also. This is the best most beautiful place on earth!! I love being a missionary here! This week I have really felt Heavenly Father bless me with the Gift of Tongues. I know that His children here need the message that I have to tell them and I beg Him in prayer every day to help me to communicate the things that they need to hear. I love these people. They need the gospel and they need Heavenly Father's love. I feel so honored that He has trusted me to deliver it to them on His behalf!

I don't have any good pictures from this week so here is two from last week. One with a Jesus angel
and one with my cute companion!
I love you all!!

Week 10- Ios, Dracula, and Blessings

This week has been so awesome! The beginning of this week we had Zone Conference in Ios. It was a 6 hour bus drive but it was so cool to be able to drive through the country. I loved being able to get more familiar with Romania and see a little bit more of it. I feel such a love for this country and the people here. At the Zone Conference I got to meet the other set of sisters in our Zone which was super awesome. I also got to get to know my mission president and his wife a little better. They are so awesome and make me feel so loved! I loved being able to learn how to be a better missionary and become the person that God wants me to be.

We had an awesome time this week with Alexandra! She came to church on Sunday and we also got to meet with her on Thursday. It went really well and I can just feel Christ working in her life. We had a member present there also which was so cool! Carmen came and met with us and was able to testify and tell of her own experience coming to know that the church was true. The members are all so kind to her and she feels that love from them. I love the members so much! We have been still meeting with the Young Women, Teo and Cristina, and it has continued to be a great thing for us and them. This week we got to take them out with us to do missionary work. It was so cool to see how bold and strong they already are.We also got to know President Mesco better this week. He is a really great branch president and he truely cares about everyone in the branch. The branch had a party on Saturday and it was really great to be there and be a part of it. I feel at home here in this branch and I love it! I have been still playing the piano for church and I have even started teaching Cristina to play.

Getting to know the members better helps me to realize truely how blessed I am to have this gospel in my life. All of the members here have given up and continue to give up so much to embrace the gospel and to futher the work.

This week was a little crazy because we had a problem with our apartment. We had this super strong gas smell that wouldn't go away. It was making us feel sick and we couldn't stay in our apartment. We ended up having to quickly pack a bag and stay a night at a hotel. Our landlord was finally able to figure out that our washing machine had overheated and she got it figured out and we are now able to go home! It made it hard to get back to a normal schedule after Zone Conference with all of this craziness but we were still able to have some awesome experiences with meeting people.

We talked to some sweet girls while we were studying in a book store. We told them about our experiences and how the gospel has helped us. After as we were walking back to go home we gave a girl a book of mormon and explained what it was. When we told her it was free she couldn't believe it and said that of course she would read it. Sometimes I don't really realize how blessed I am to have this knowledge but as we were talking to these girls I just felt the spirit witness that what we were saying was true and that this knowlegde is precious. I HAVE found happiness. I DO have a purpose here on earth. I AM a daughter of God. I am so incredibly blessed to know that these things are true!

Week 9- Heaven Father loves us all!

This week was as amazing as the last!
I loved the letter this week because we really have been trying to focus on having more faith. This week I tried a trick that Sora Ebert recommened of picturing every person we talk to in their baptismal clothes. It is amazing as I have done this to feel the miracles that I have come as I have done this. My love for each individual and for the people in Brasov has grow; I feel my language improve and come with more ease; and I feel that the conversation is more sincere as my desire is more focused on truely helping each person come unto Christ. I think this new perspective has really changed things. It's so simple but its been incredible! We had so many other amazing experiences this week with the spirit guiding us and with the Gift of Tongues. I see God's hand all over in Brasov! He is hereand He loves His children here so much. I love being able to see and feel that love for them!

Picture 1: Us with Alexandra! She has been doing so amazing and we have seen her faith increasing. She says that when she knows that the church is true she will be baptized! We had an amazing lesson with her and she said the closing prayer. It was the first time she had prayed since she was young and it was an amazing experience! She came to church on Sunday and is just coming so much closer to Christ in the short time that we have known her.
Picture 2: I went on an exchange with Sora Garrett and it was amazing! We are with a member in our ward named Corina
Picture 3: We got a little lost so we took some pictures to remember the occasion.
Picture 4: We found a cute little place that says "what is your vision?" people leave ideas of who they want to be and what they want to do. We left a card with the name of the church and our number with the vision "to be with my family forever"
I love you all and thank you for your love and prayers!!
